Johnnie Christmas’s Swim Team is an incredible graphic novel about challenging yourself, trying new things, and bravery. It tells the story of a young girl who recently moved to Florida with her dad. In her new town, all anyone seems to care about is swimming, but she never learned how to swim. Initially, she’s scared, but she pushes herself to learn how to swim and brings her middle school swim team to the state championships.
