A beautiful story by author/illustrator Vashti Harrison, about a girl who is made fun of for being too big. She loves ballet and school, but often feels invisible and feels as though she doesn’t fit in because she’s too big. She goes through a journey of trying to hide her body before realizing that she’s beautiful the way she is and doesn’t need to change herself for anyone. This book is perfect for beginning conversations of body positivity and teaching kids to love themselves as they are.
