TAKE US OUT TO THE BALLGAME Calling all SF Giants fans! CBP staff and volunteers will host an information booth at the May 16 home game (v LA Dodgers) at 7:15 pm. Stop by and say hello at the Community Clubhouse, Promenade level, at AT&T Park through the 4th inning. Spread the word!

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS A quarter century ago, founder Vicki Pollack noticed a need at local public schools and began collecting and giving away children’s books from her home in San Francisco. 25 years, a couple of moves, countless volunteer hours, and over 2.5 million books later, the Children’s Book Project continues to fulfill our founding mission to build literacy by bringing free books to children who need them. We look forward to celebrating our silver anniversary with you (because we couldn’t do it without you!) at a special event on September 30—watch this space for more details later this summer.
